Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Repair Costs Will Be Expensive
While advancing technology is impressive, the costs associated with repairs can deter many from experiencing these innovations. Huawei’s newly introduced three-fold phone is no exception. Despite its eye-catching foldable screen, the disclosed repair costs might make many users reconsider.
As the world’s first three-fold phone, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate comes with a hefty price tag of around $2800. The repair costs for the screen, battery, and panel have now been revealed.
To start with the screen: repairing the foldable screen will cost approximately $1123. However, if you purchase the phone during a promotion, you can pay an additional $560 within the first year for a one-time screen replacement.
For motherboard repairs, the cost is $1280, while the battery is relatively more affordable at $70. Repairing the main rear panel with the camera lens will cost $193, and repairs for the other two panels are priced at $55 each. If there are issues with the cameras, the repair costs are as follows: telephoto camera for $81, selfie camera for $53, main camera for $106, and ultra-wide camera for $37.
